Does anyone have any experience with boiler warranties? I’m looking to replace my boiler, which is almost 20 years old, and am hoping to get a long warranty – the idea being that I don’t waste money in drips over the next decade.
They seem to mostly be available on the newer A/A+ models, which I guess makes sense. Searching around, I’ve found ones as long as 10 years (Ideal boilers and Baxi too).
Are these just manufacturers trying to get the sales in and worrying about fixing later? Or are they genuinely better made in the first place? There’s no point your boiler using less energy is it’s always breaking down 🙂
